!!!!!!!!monitors of capitalism!!!!!!!
When I was 11, I made a tiger-print guitar out of cardboard, with a hollow body, a tacked-on tremelo bar, and drawn-on pickups. It was with this guitar that I would eventually try to fool my older brother into thinking that I could play (though instead of using a shredder classic like "The Tendency of the Rate of Profit to Fall", this was done by hiding a tape deck beneath my chair and lip-syncing to George Michael's "Faith" just as my brother walked into the room). I firmly believe that if I'd known of The Long Telegram at that stage in my development, I'd have had the tools to resist the call of The Youth Group as a teen...
Chris,This is the best thing anyone has any said about music in which I am involved.
